Jeong lab focuses on production and analysis of population-scale genome-wide variation data to reconstruct past evolutionary history of human populations and other species. We are broadly interested in the following research topics:

1. Reconstructing past migration and admixture of world-wide human populations using ancient and present-day genomes
2. Delineating the genetic basis of complex adaptive phenotypes in natural populations
3. Understanding the role of genetic variation in human health and phenotypic diversity
