Jeong lab of Population Genomics look forward to working together with talented and enthuastic trainees for PhD/MSc programs as well as undergraduate/post-graduate research internship. For the graduate program, we highly recommend experiences in evolutionary and/or molecular biology and basic knowledge in statistics and programming. We are happy to provide required basic trainings for research interns.

Currently available research projects are mostly of archaeogenetic studies of ancient human populations based on genome-wide data. More projects focusing on non-human species are on their way.

집단유전체학 연구실에서는 재능과 관심이 있는 학생들의 석박사과정 및 연구 인턴쉽 지원을 기다리고 있습니다. 석박사과정 입학을 위해서는 진화생물학/분자생물학 학부 수준의 경험과 기초적인 통계학 및 프로그래밍 지식을 갖고 있길 권장합니다. 충분한 배경 지식이 없는 경우, 혹은 학부 과정의 연구 인턴쉽을 지원한 경우, 랩 차원에서 연구에 필요한 배경 지식을 배울 기회를 제공할 예정입니다.

현재 집단유전체학 연구실에서 제공할 수 있는 연구 프로젝트들은 대부분 고시료 전장유전체를 이용한 옛 사람 집단에 대한 고고유전학 연구입니다. 사람이 아닌 생물종을 대상으로 한 집단유전학 연구 프로젝트들도 준비 혹은 데이터 수집 중에 있습니다.
