Reporting to the Editorial Director this role will have responsibility for growing the list of open access journals from Korea and developing them to be important publications in their fields. Key responsibilities will include: identifying and acquiring new or transfer journals within Korea; working with the journal development and marketing teams to maximise revenue for the journals based in Korea, and to increase high quality submissions emanating from the region; excellent relationship building with Editors, Editorial Boards and Societies; profile raising activities in Korea, for example contributing to discussions, projects of importance, presentations at conferences; keeping up to date with developments in Korea which affect scientific communication; understanding the changing needs of researchers and representing their needs; identifying and realizing potential new business relationships and partnerships; fostering excellent relationships and team.
