GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR USE OF SEOUL NATIONAL UNIVERSITY GRADUATE SCHOOL OF BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES HOMEPAGE

[GENERAL RULES]

1. Purpose 
Your are subject to the terms and conditions of use contained herein. By accessing or contributing to the SNU School of Biological Sciences web site, you agree to abide to these terms.

2. Effectiveness of this user agreement
This terms and conditions will be in effect upon the agreement of the users registering for new membership at SNU School of Biological Sciences homepage.

3. Changes to this agreement
We may change the terms of this Agreement at any time by posting a revised Agreement on the web site. Any change shall take effect immediately, unless otherwise provided.

4. Acceptance of terms
During membership application, by checking the box below you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions herein. 

5. Applying for membership
Membership application needs to be done online by filling out the provided form. You agree to provide accurate information on your name.

6. Agreement of membership registration
Upon completing, submitting, and having approved the form of membership application provided by SNU Graduate School of Biological Sciences as above (5. Applying for membership), you agree to use services provided by the web site.  

7. Your registration obligations
If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, impersonate any person or entity, damage the reputation of SNU School of Biological Sciences web site, or upload obscene materials, SNU School of Biological Science has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current and future use of our services. 

8. Responsibilities as a member
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and account and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account. Also, you agree to be responsible for civil and criminal suits arising from illegally copying and distributing contents in the web site.

9. Privacy Policy
Registration data and certain other information about you are subject to our applicable privacy policy. We agree not to release member information without your consent. However, exceptions do exist: if you break the terms and conditions listed here, impersonate any person or entity, make available any unsolicited or unauthorized advertizing, upload or transmit or make available any material that destroys the functionality of any computer software or hardware. Even in such cases, we have the right to provide personal information to investigative agencies, but not individuals.

10. Hours of service 
This web site operates 24 hours everyday throughout the year. However, we have the right to temporarily stop providing services during equipment installation, upgrade, and repair, or other operational difficulties. In such cases, we agree to acknowledge you on the web site prior to suspension. 

11. Termination of Use
You may terminate your account by submitting termination request, which will be approved within 24 hours of request (excluding holidays).

12. Competent Court
In the case of a conflict between the web site and its members, the case will fall under the jurisdiction of the competent court in which SNU School of Biological Sciences web site belongs to.
